The aim of this national network of innovation and entrepreneurship institutes is to gain competitiveness, attract investment and promote the creation of new technology-based companies
CRE100DO and Innova IRV have signed a collaboration agreement with AMETIC, the leader of the Digital Industry in Spain, with the aim of promoting the national network of Ricardo Valle Institutes of Innovation, through innovation and business entrepreneurship. The agreement was ratified by the CEO of CRE100DO, Rafael Vaquero, and the CEO of Innova IRV, José Manuel Leceta, after the Board of Trustees of the Ricardo Valle Foundation in Málaga, in the presence of the president of Innova IRV, Ezequiel Navarro, and the president of AMETIC, Pedro Mier.
Specifically, the cooperation between the two foundations has the objective of providing support in the deployment of the National Network of Ricardo Valle Institutes of Innovation, promoted by AMETIC. On the one hand, the CRE100DO Foundation brings together Spanish Intermediate Size Companies (turnover between 50 and 500M€) with high growth potential, while the Ricardo Valle Innovation Institute Foundation (Innova IRV) combines national knowledge and leadership in microelectronics, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and advanced communications.
Thus, this collaboration agreement will contribute to the creation of the future National Network of Ricardo Valle Institutes of Innovation (RVIN), which aims to bring top-level technological innovation to gain competitiveness, attract investment and promote the creation of new technology-based companies. In fact, Innova IRV and CRE100DO have already started working to define and create projects related to the promotion of strategic spaces for innovation in the business field as early as 2024.
The president of AMETIC, Pedro Mier, outlined that “at AMETIC, we consider it crucial to create spaces that encourage innovation and entrepreneurship, promoting public-private collaboration. We are very confident in the power of collaboration between companies and institutions and this initiative is very much aligned and is a good example of this”.
For that matter, José Manuel Leceta pointed out that “Spanish Intermediate Size Companies have the lead role of the double “i” (innovation and internationalization); under the guidelines of AMETIC, through CRE100DO, we will have a unique list of companies suitable to accelerate the work for the development and deployment of the future Network of institutes¨.
On another note, Rafael Vaquero has pointed out that “CRE100DO’s community of companies includes great examples of success from the Andalusian ecosystem, namely Grupo Premo, Aertec and Trops within the executive management of Innova IRV Foundation, as well as other CRE100DO companies that already collaborate with the Ricardo Valle Institute, such as Iturri, Atarfil, GMV and Simón. This collaboration agreement is a great opportunity to replicate this model in other autonomous communities to boost innovation at all levels”.
