  • AGPhotonics, Bioherent, Logikers and Zexel Software are present in this ranking, which includes cutting-edge innovative projects.

The Association of Science and Technology Parks of Spain (APTE) has drawn up a list of the top 100 best startups of 2023, including four Málaga TechPark startups: AGPhotonics, Bioherent, Logikers and Zelex Software.

AGPhotonics, located in The Green Ray by PTA-UMA building, works in the microelectronics sector, specifically specialized in photonics.

Bioherent, based at the Bioinnovation building of Málaga TechPark, is currently developing a prototype for in vitro clinical diagnosis of drug allergies based on a photonic biosensor.

Logikers, also based at The Green Ray by PTA-UMA building, has been focused since its inception on the development of digital solutions for the optimization of energy distribution adapted to new energy models.

Zelex Software, based at The Green Ray, bases its business activity on influencer campaign management software, which automates the internal financial administrative processes between digital creators and the agencies that manage them through a cloud platform.

APTE Ranking
The top 100 startups in the APTE ranking are based in its 51 science and technology parks in 15 Spanish autonomous communities.

It consists of 100 innovative projects in cutting-edge fields ranging from biotechnology to artificial intelligence through clean energy, telecommunications, health, space, automotive, semiconductors, agrotech, blockchain, software, etc.

5 of the 100 startups have emerged thanks to the startup devising and acceleration program (APTENISA) promoted by APTE with the support of ENISA.

Moreover, 32 of the 100 startups have a woman as their CEO or founder.

To publicize these startups, APTE has developed a section on its website in which anyone can check the sector of activity of the startup, the science and technology park in which they are located, their web page, the range of annual turnover, the investment raised by each one, the state of investment in which they are and the year of their inception. The information is completed with a brochure that includes a description of all the companies in English and Spanish.

The objective pursued by APTE with this information is to bring attention to the 100 most outstanding startups of the Spanish science and technology parks and to highlight the quality and entrepreneurial capability that is developed in these environments, as well as to facilitate the link between these companies and potential investors interested in high-growth projects.

These startups will have a special role during the next edition of the Transfiere Forum to be held in Málaga from March 20th to 22nd, 2024. They will receive a special invitation to participate with a networking agenda so they can organize and participate in meetings with potential customers and investors.
