The Asociación de Parques Científicos y Tecnológicos de España (APTE), accompanied by several of its member parks and some of its most promising startups, has participated in the first innovation and technological entrepreneurship fair “Startup OLÉ Marbella” from 26th to 28th June at the Andalucía Lab facilities in Marbella, with the aim of connecting entrepreneurs with investors and generating high-level business
Startup OLÉ Marbella is a new project designed to push forward innovation and business development in the region that promises to be a meaningful meeting point for the technological and entrepreneurial sector.
APTE’s intervention began with the pitching of six projects participating in the ideation phase of the APTENISA programme (APTENISA START), which is supported by the Empresa Nacional de Innovación (ENISA). The participating projects were: The Fall (La Salle Technova Barcelona), 1Legion (Málaga TechPark), Beeconnected, BALPANELS, RECI-CAPS and BIODAIVERSE (PCT Cartuja).
The round table of parks, moderated by Soledad Díaz, the managing director of APTE, was attended by Blanca Gómez, head of entrepreneurship at the Parque Científico Tecnológico Cartuja (PCT Cartuja) and Natalia Pérez, director of communication, innovation and institutional relations at Málaga TechPark. The speakers discussed the specific strategies and programmes implemented in their respective parks to promote entrepreneurship and support startups in their initial phases, highlighting the success of the APTENISA initiative.
The second round table promoted by the Plataforma Tecnológica Española de Tecnologías Disruptivas, DISRUPTIVE, (the Spanish Technology Platform for Disruptive Technologies) which is funded by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities through the State Research Agency, was also moderated by Soledad Díaz, and included representatives from three companies located in APTE member parks. The speakers were: Álvaro Monllor from Findit App (Parque Científico of Alicante), Aniel Jardines from Applied Innovative Methods (Parque Científico Universidad Carlos III de Madrid – Leganés Tecnológico) and Patricia Galán from Tamiza (Málaga TechPark). All of them shared how they are using disruptive technologies to innovate and position themselves in the market, as well as the challenges and opportunities that this implies.
