Its first objective is to identify projects around the digital transformation of healthcare, a business area of growing interest for technology companies in Málaga TechPark.
This Wednesday the second meeting of ‘Digital Health’ Forum (Foro Salud Digital) took place to launch its Working Groups.
Málaga TechPark, the Regional University Hospital of Málaga and the University of Málaga launched the ‘Digital Health’ Forum last November, an initiative in which about twenty companies participate. This brings together knowledge of the digital and healthcare world, in order to generate synergies and collaboration between Malaga TechPark companies and healthcare professionals. Among the participants are Accenture, DEKRA, DXC Tecnología, EY, Garaje de ideas, Idneo, Indra, Ingenia, MSD, Tupl, PwC and Telefónica.
Since December, the Forum has been working on the definition of collaborative projects that provide technological solutions to the needs identified by the different Hospital services.
Málaga TechPark, the Hospital and the UMA are currently working on the ‘The journey of the patient through the health system’, a project of the Regional University Hospital of Malaga that covers the areas of care, research, innovation and empowerment of the patient.
To this end, the ‘Digital Health’ Forum launches eight working groups in which participating companies and
doctors will jointly define the initiatives that will lead the digital transformation of the health system.
