The Spanish technological platform for disruptive technologies, DISRUPTIVE, aims to promote digital transformation in Spanish companies.
The online presentation of DISRUPTIVE took place this Wednesday. The new Spanish Technological Platform for Disruptive Technologies promoted by the Association of Science and Technology Parks of Spain (APTE) will be chaired by Málaga TechPark.
DISRUPTIVE is a technological platform whose objective is the digital transformation of Spanish companies, covering the field of the most disruptive digital technologies from a broad perspective: analysis, dissemination, detection of trends, barriers, state of the art, knowledge of demand, level of adoption, usability and skills. As the entity that will preside over the platform, the Andalusian Technology Park will work on all these points, leading the efforts of the initiative to promote business projects based on the development and use of these technologies, as well as cooperation between them and also between the public sphere and private sectors in the field of in R + D + i.
Additionally, DISRUPTIVE will also address other important aspects for the digitization of companies and their competitiveness within the 4th digital transformation, such as the location and promotion of talent, internationalization, collaboration with the rest of the platforms and intermediate organizations of the national and international innovation, the gender gap in technology or issues related to inclusion.
The presentation brought together 145 attendees, representatives of the entire innovation system. During the event the most important activities of the work plan of this platform were discussed. Among these is the making available to all entities that participate in the platform of their online training classroom in disruptive technologies, the setting up of 6 work groups focused on the study of the following disruptive technologies: Blockchain, BIG Data and Artificial Intelligence, 5G, Cybersecurity and quantum computing, as well as the creation of a “Laboratory of ideas” to promote new business ideas based on the development or use of these new disruptive digital technologies, through contact with agents of the innovation system that can help with financing, advice, internationalization, strategic collaboration, etc. This laboratory of ideas will be complemented by a marketplace where the entities that participate in DISRUPTIVE will be able to publish their offers and requests for collaboration. Entities from other countries will also be encouraged to do so to promote internationalization processes.
