Innova IRV awarded in the XII edition of the Social Engagement Awards by the Forum of Consejos Sociales (Social Councils) of Andalucía

  • The awards ceremony was held in the Salon de Rectores of the Royal Hospital of Granada last Thursday

The Ricardo del Valle Institute of Innovation Foundation (Innova IRV) has been awarded at the 12th edition of the Social Engagement awards by the Forum of Consejos Sociales (Social Councils) of Andalucía. The event took place this past Thursday in the Salón de Rectores  of the Royal Hospital of Granada.

The Social Engagement Awards highlight the commitment and unity of the Councils of the seven Andalusian public universities in promoting the economic, social, and cultural progress of our society.

Innova IRV has been awarded in the category of “Companies and Other Public or Private Organisations with Technological Projection”. The award was received by Innova IRV president, Ezequiel Navarro, from the chair of the Social Council of the University of Seville, Concha Yoldi.

These awards, which have earned their prestige over 12 editions, highlight the richness of our Andalusian community in terms of talent, excellence, innovation, and knowledge.

The 12th edition of the “Implicación Social en las Universidades Andaluzas” (Social Engagement in the Andalusian Universities) Award, aims to recognise good practices of collaboration between Andalusian public universities, businesses, and other public and private organizations within their surroundings. It acknowledges their contributions to the progress and well-being of society through the production, transfer, and practical application of knowledge, as well as their social impact.  The awards distinguish companies, institutions, university institutes, research centers, services, departments,  the career paths of researchers,  graduates and internationalization experiences.
