The Association of Science and Technology Parks of Spain (APTE) presented on the 13th edition of Transfiere held at FYCMA (Trade Fairs & Congress Center of Málaga) the official APTE Top 100 Startups of 2023, a list of 100 innovative projects born in the 51 science and technology parks that are members of APTE, on cutting-edge areas ranging from biotechnology to artificial intelligence.
The event was attended by Jordi García Brustenga, General Director of Industrial Strategy and SMEs, and President of ENISA, and Felipe Romera, President of APTE, as well as a delegation consisting of more than twenty of the companies on this list.
During the event, the president of APTE underlined in his speech that the objective of APTE with this list is to recognize these startups and to highlight the quality and entrepreneurial capability developed in science and technology parks, as well as to facilitate knowledge of these companies to potential investors interested in high-growth projects.
On another note, Jordi García Brustenga pointed out that one of the best supports that the Administration can offer to new companies is financial support in this initial stage and the visibility of the entrepreneurial character of our business ecosystem, as an example and inspiration for more people and entrepreneurial teams.
Likewise, 3 of the startups on this list: 2GF SOLUTIONS, Doole Health, and Rethink Medical, located in the Science and Technology Park of Cartuja, the Technology Park TecnoCampus, and the Canarian Foundation Science and Technology Park of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, respectively, have participated by draw on behalf of the rest, to talk about what this recognition has meant and explain their value proposals.
2GF SOLUTIONS specializes in energy efficiency, photovoltaic facilities, and street furniture for Smart City and has also participated in the 2nd edition of the APTENISA program. Doole Health has created a telemedicine platform aimed at improving clinical outcomes and efficiency in care through the empowerment of patients and caregivers. On the other hand, Rethink Medical develops innovative medical solutions to improve the life quality of patients and the efficiency and safety of healthcare professionals.
