Last week, the ‘Keiretsu Forum Andalucía’, the Investment Forum for startups, jointly managed by BIC Euronova and Byevolution Creative Factory, celebrated this new investment forum for startups after the great success of previous editions at the Thyssen Museum in Málaga.

This forum is addressed to startups that are interested in private funding. Nine Andalusian startups, which were previously selected, presented their projects to more than 150 investors in the forum’s funding phase, aiming to obtain up to €800,000 in private funding.

Among all the startups that participated in the forum, Datlight was the most voted company. Datlight is a Deep Tech startup based in Málaga TechPark that focuses on R&D&I and on the development of last-mile connectivity solutions based on the wireless communications technology LiFi, which uses light to transmit data, that is, VLC / LIFI (Visual Light Communications / Light Fidelity). Datlight also focuses on defence.

This new edition of the 2023 ‘Keiretsu Forum Andalucía’ was celebrated thanks to the alliance of BIC Euronova — European Centre of Companies and Innovation in Málaga, and Byevolution Creative Factory, which signed a collaboration agreement in 2020 for managing the ‘Keiretsu Forum Andalucía.’ It was granted by Keiretsu Forum, the largest international network of private investors, which has 53 offices in 27 countries from four continents.

The ‘Keiretsu Forum Andalucía’ event was attended by Miquel Costa, president and CEO of Keiretsu Forum Spain; Ramón Cano, president of Keiretsu Forum Andalucía and CEO of Byevolution Creative Factory; and Álvaro Simón de Blas, vice-president of Keiretsu Forum Andalucía and general manager of BIC Euronova — European Centre of Companies and Innovation in Málaga.

The ‘Keiretsu Forum Andalucía’ offers the perfect opportunity for the participating startups to not only obtain up to €800,000 in private funding, but also to make international business contacts, business opportunities, training and networking, among others.

Furthermore, the aim of ‘Keiretsu Forum Andalucía’ is to provide Andalusian entrepreneurs and startups from technology and high-growth sectors with a reliable and approved platform for receiving private funding, as well as to facilitate investment opportunities for growth and expansion projects.
