The Board of Directors of Málaga TechPark welcomes two new members: Alicia Izquierdo García from the City Council of Málaga and Antonio Miguel Posadas Chinchilla.

Izquierdo is the new city councillor of the department of Innovation, Urban Digitalisation, Technological and Business Investment Promotion and Investment Attraction of the City Council of Málaga, who is replacing Susana Carrillo Aparicio, the former city councillor of the aforementioned department.

Furthermore, Posadas, current secretary for Research and Innovation of the regional ministry for University, Research and Innovation, joins the Board of Directors of the park and takes over from Pablo Fabio Cortés Achechad, who used to hold the same position in the Junta de Andalucía (regional government of Andalusia).

After the last municipal elections, Francisco de la Torre, mayor of Málaga, and Carmen Casero Navarro, the new city councillor in charge of the department of Urban Planning, continue to be members of the board. Carmen Casero is now representing the City Council of Málaga and

replaces the former city councillor Raúl López Maldonado, although she already was member of the board through the AVRA agency when she was provincial delegate for Development, Infrastructure, Regional Planning, Culture and Historical Heritage of Málaga. She relinquished this position after joining the city council.

These changes were accepted unanimously at the shareholders’ general meeting in Málaga TechPark and also unanimously ratified at the subsequent meeting of the park’s Board of Directors.

Special thanks

The Board of Directors of Málaga TechPark would like to thank Pablo Fabio Cortés Achedad, Raúl López Maldonado and Susana Carillo Aparicio for their work and dedication to the technology park.
