The program is developed through a training action involving Málaga TechPark leading companies.
Fundación ONCE, Inserta Empleo and Málaga TechPark have launched today in Arelance two Full Stack Developer Courses, framed on the first phase of a pilot plan to promote employment inclusion of people with disabilities in the field of new technologies.
These courses, attended by 25 people with disabilities, will last until October 9 and consist of 120 teaching hours each, divided into the following modules: Internet; HTML5; CSS3 and introduction to basic JavaScript programming. Both are part of a training itinerary for programming in different technologies, framed in the program ‘Por Talento Digital’ (For Digital Talent) of Fundación ONCE, which is co-financed by the European Social Fund and supported by important companies based in Málaga TechPark. The second phase of this initiative will be launched next October with a Full Stack developer course.
‘Por Talento Digital’ is a pioneering training program in Spain launched by the Fundación ONCE (ONCE Foundation) that aims to respond to a real demand for professionals in digital skills, while improving the qualification and employability of people with disabilities. Furthermore, this is the first collaboration that Fundación ONCE and Inserta Empleo has established with a technology park.
The training contents are closely linked to the real demand of the park and have been defined by a technical commission formed by the Fundación ONCE, Inserta Empleo and Málaga TechPark companies such as Arelance, CGI, Ingenia, Minsait by Indra, Opplus, Summa Communications & Voiceworks Labs Spain and The Workshop. This initiative confirms the commitment of Málaga TechPark and the companies located in the park for a digital transformation model compatible with sustainable and inclusive criteria.
