- The event will take place on 26th January, 2025, featuring two routes of 10 and 5 kilometers, respectively
Next Sunday, January 26, Málaga TechPark will welcome a new edition of the TauRun, a corporate race held in support of the Spanish Association Against Cancer. The TauRun is an initiative aimed at runners and sports enthusiasts from Málaga TechPark companies, external businesses, professional associations, public institutions, and organizations. Initially, it was named after the Tau Number, double the value of Pi, because it matched the race distance: 6.28 km.
This year, two routes will be featured: a competitive 10-kilometer race and a non-timed 5-kilometer course, designed for families and those who prefer not to compete. The specially designed route will start from Alei Plaza within the park and will wind through various streets of Málaga TechPark.
The event is divided into several categories and subcategories.
- Individual: Male and Female
- Teams: Male, Female, and Mixed
- Age Groups:
- Junior: Up to 29 years old
- Senior: Ages 30 to 49
- Master: 50 years and older
Parallel activities will also be held around the race.
Registrations can be made through this link. Individual bibs are priced at €10 per participant, while team fees will vary depending on the chosen package (Gold, Silver, or Bronze). Registration for the timed race includes fruit, a t-shirt, and insurance for the runner. Children’s bibs cost €5.
