The Oracle Innovation Hub hosted the opening ceremony of JunctionX Málaga, the largest tech hackathon in Europe, which arrives to the capital thanks to the LEINN Degree from Mondragon Unibertsitatea and TeamLabs.
The event, which will take place from October 20 to 22 in The Green Lemon building at Málaga TechPark, brings together 100 programmers who will face different challenges proposed by the companies Oracle, Examfy, Qua Consultores and Rocketlink. The winning team will qualify for the world hackathon Junction 2023 in Finland, while also getting a cash prize of €1,000.
At the opening of the event there were present Alicia Izquierdo, Councillor of Innovation, Urban Digitalization, Development of Technological and Business Investment and Investment Attraction of the Málaga City Council; Lourdes Cruz, Commercial and Investment Attraction Director of Málaga TechPark, the five organizers of the LEINN Degree of Málaga, Santiago Castellanos, Iván Marmolejo, José Rojas, Germán Zamora and Pablo Oliver; Sofía Schneider, Oracle Site Leader of Málaga; Berta Lázaro, co-founder and Global Ecosystem Leader of Teamlabs; and Sonia Borreguero, partner and and Financial Director of TeamLabs.
