Málaga TechPark celebrates an open day to show its Innovation Spaces

MálagaTechPark open day Innovation Spaces
  • Half a hundred students visit various facilities in the technology park to learn about processes and professionals

Around fifty students visited several facilities at Málaga TechPark as part of an initiative within the Innovation Spaces Visibility Project launched by the Spanish Association of Science and Technology Parks (APTE).

Participants enjoyed a guided tour through the facilities of Ibima, Dekra, the Supercomputing Center, and Accenture. This open day allowed students to get firsthand insight into the work, tools, and people involved in these research and development centers at Málaga TechPark, as well as the professional profiles they seek.

The visit is part of the Innovation Spaces Visibility Project, a program led by APTE that aims to showcase the main innovation infrastructures of Spanish parks to researchers, companies, civil society, and public administration.

Thus, on Thursday and Friday, this initiative took place in up to six science and technology parks across ten autonomous communities. Altogether, as part of the goal to promote the country’s scientific and technological development, 39 key infrastructures at the forefront of progress in Spain were showcased.

The initiative serves as a platform to strengthen Spain’s innovation ecosystem by showcasing critical infrastructures. Other goals include contributing to the country’s scientific advancement and highlighting the advantages of living labs, emphasizing their role as experimental and co-creation spaces where new technologies and innovative solutions are tested.
