Málaga TechPark participated in the second in-person partner meeting of the European project ‘atTRACTION’ in Sophia Antipolis, France. This project aims to help DeepTech startups from Lithuania, Wielkopolska (Poland), and Andalusia reach their full potential by connecting them with investors, institutions, and leading companies across Europe.

The meeting was attended by the following project partners: Poznan Science and Technology Park (Poland); Kaunas Science and Technology Park (Lithuania); Steinbeis 2i GmbH and Startup Migrants (Germany); GAC Group and Bpi France (France); UVCA, Ukrainian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (Ukraine); and Málaga Tech Park.

During the meeting, a thorough analysis of the main activities carried out so far was conducted, with the aim of improving their implementation for the upcoming year. The actions that have been successfully completed were also highlighted. Another key point of the meeting was the planning of tasks to be implemented in the upcoming year, including the development of a Bootcamp and a Demo Day in the three main startup ecosystems of the project: Wielkopolska (Poland), Lithuania, and Andalusia.

On the other hand, as part of the meeting, Adity and Datlight, two startups from Málaga TechPark, participated in the “SBA International Venture Academy” event organized by Sophia Business Angels (SBA). This event featured pitching, coaching, and networking sessions, bringing together members of the startup ecosystem.

This year, the event was held in collaboration with partners of the atTRACTION project, especially with GAC Group. The event included the participation of Poznan Science and Technology Park, Kaunas Science and Technology Park, Málaga TechPark, Startup Migrants, BPI France, and UVCA, as well as SBA partners from Ireland, Finland, France, the United States, among others.

These activities strengthen the international connections of the park and provide new growth opportunities for local startups. By closely collaborating with other European partners, Málaga TechPark not only contributes to the strengthening of the regional DeepTech ecosystem but also boosts the competitiveness of Andalusian startups in the global arena, supporting them on their path to success in a competitive, globalized, and constantly evolving market.
