Málaga TechPark will once again take part in the new Aptenisa programme, that will promote 75 new business ideas and 30 startups

  • The APTENISA programme focuses on facilitating the creation of new technology-based companies and reducing the obstacles they face during their growth.
  • The Parque Científico of Madrid, La Salle Technova Barcelona, Parcbit, the Parque Científico of Alicante, the Parque Científico y Tecnológico of Cartuja and the Parque Científico of the Universidad Miguel Hernández of Elche will also participate in this initiative together with Málaga TechPark.

The Asociación de Parques Científicos y Tecnológicos de España (APTE) (“Scientific and Technological Parks Association of Spain”), of which Málaga TechPark is part, and the Empresa Nacional de Innovación (ENISA) (“National Innovation Company”) have signed a new agreement in order to develop the third edition of the APTENISA programme for business ideation and acceleration that will lead to the detection of 75 new business ideas and the acceleration of 30 startups.

The APTENISA programme focuses on facilitating the creation of new technology-based companies and reducing the obstacles they face during their growth, thus supporting the development of a size that makes them more competitive, in clear harmony with the objectives of the Plan de Recuperación, Transformación y Resiliencia (“Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan”) of the Government of Spain, with the Ley de Creación y Crecimiento de Empresas (“Law of Creation and Growth of Enterprises”), the Ley de Fomento del Ecosistema de las Empresas Emergentes (“Law of the Promotion of the Startups Enterprises”) and the Estrategia Spain Up Nation.

APTENISA will support entrepreneurship during 2024 from the initial idea to the acceleration phase, validation of the business model and formation, through a common methodology based on the Candy Innovation Model and Lean Launch Pad methodologies, to be developed by the 7 scientific and technological parks that will participate in this new edition located in 5 autonomous communities:

  1. MÁLAGA TECHPARK (Málaga)
  2. PARQUE CIENTÍFICO OF MADRID (Madrid)
  3. LA SALLE TECHNOVA BARCELONA (Barcelona)
  4. PARCBIT (Palma de Mallorca)
  5. PARQUE CIENTÍFICO OF ALICANTE (Alicante)
  6. PARQUE CIENTÍFICO Y TECNOLÓGICO CARTUJA (Sevilla)
  7. PARQUE CIENTÍFICO OF THE UNIVERSIDAD MIGUEL HERNÁNDEZ OF ELCHE (Alicante)

APTENISA also takes into account the territorial, connectivity and gender gaps, and is committed to promoting initiatives that encourage digitalisation or implementation of technologies in different sectors, as well as female entrepreneurship.

This collaboration between ENISA and APTE began in 2022 with the launch of the APTENISA pilot programme, which has been consolidated over the last few editions and has led more than 200 new business ideas and accelerated 59 startups.

ENISA values this collaboration very positively, as Borja Cabezón, CEO of this public company, has pointed out: “The APTENISA programme, now in its third edition, is proving to be a good tool for the emergence of new business ideas and the promotion of startups. The work that APTE and the Technological Parks of Spain are carrying out, together with ENISA, is making these necessary alliances possible to promote and strengthen entrepreneurship in our country and, in particular, in the field of technology.”

Felipe Romera, president of APTE, has added: “I would like to express my satisfaction for a programme that is allowing our association to structure the national entrepreneurship ecosystem around Spanish scientific and technological parks and support the development of new startups, which are indispensable to improve the level of innovation and competitiveness of our country.”

With the opening of the call, from 20th May, the business ideas proposals received will participate in the APTENISA START incubation phase that will take place from 17th June to 12th July.
