Smart City Cluster, Malaga-based TechPark alliance, commitments to telemedicine

The entities Clúster Smart City, Fundación ONCE and Ever Health have signed a collaboration agreement to make telemedicine accessible to all people.

Fundación ONCE (ONCE Foundation), Ever Health and Clúster Smart City have signed an agreement by which the three entities join forces with the aim of promoting  telemedicine accessible for all people.

The agreement, which has been signed by José Luis Martínez Donoso, CEO of Fundación ONCE, Mariano Barroso, President of the Smart City Cluster, and Rafael García, CEO of Ever Health, sets up various measures for disabled people to access the services offered by telemedicine.

In this way, Fundación ONCE will carry out a diagnosis of universal accessibility and design for all the people of the platform developed by Ever Health, for which support will be provided by the associative movement of people with disabilities. Measures shall be proposed and user validation shall be carried out.

The current situation in the fight against Covid-19 has boosted the use of remote professional services, including those related to health.

However, the lack of universal accessibility and design for all prevents people with disabilities from being able to use such tools. For this reason, the three entities have agreed to work together and in a coordinated manner, with the aim of improving the quality of life of people with disabilities.

Clúster Smart City coordinates from Malaga TechPark the commitment of more than 150 companies and institutions for the development of smart, efficient and sustainable cities.

For its part, the Fundación ONCE collaborates with Málaga TechPark since September in the ‘Por Talento Digital’ initiative, a pioneering training program in Spain that aims to respond to a real demand for professionals in digital skills, while improving the qualification and employability of people with disabilities.
