The Fundacion Instituto Ricardo Valle de Innovacion (Innova IRV) has recently signed a collaboration agreement with Stephen Melvin, PhD in Computer Science, based in Vancouver (Canada) and an expert in the areas of processor design, embedded systems architecture and intellectual property.
The signing of this agreement took place during Stephen Melvin’s visit to the Malaga Tech Park, where he held a meeting with Mario Nemirovsky, CTO of Innova IRV.
The main objective of this agreement is to establish a formal framework for the exchange of knowledge and experience in the development of activities within computer engineering.
Likewise, as stated in the document, both parties undertake to create a cordial space for collaboration and to carry out the activities of this agreement with the utmost diligence and in accordance with their best judgment and professional experience.
Stephen Melvin
Stephen Melvin has extensive professional experience in both computer engineering and patenting, where he has more than 30 years of experience. In fact, he has designed numerous microcontroller-based embedded systems, including a machine vision product currently used by Ford Motor Company.
Furthermore, in recent years Melvin has worked directly with a number of Silicon Valley startups designing network processors.
