The Andalusian Minister of Education highlighted the collaboration between the companies of the park and the IES Campanillas, located in these facilities, with training programs adapted to the needs of technical profiles. During the visit, Javier Imbroda opened the Specialization Course on Cybersecurity that is held at the center.
Málaga TechPark has received the visit of the Andalusian Minister of Education, Javier Imbroda, on the morning of this Friday. Javier Imbroda Minister has visited the Incubation and Training Center located in Málaga TechPark, where IES Campanillas VET cycles are developed.
The visit was also attended by the Government of Andalusia Delegate in Malaga, Patricia Navarro, the delegate of Education, Mercedes García Paine, the General Secretary for Education and VET, Olaya Abadía, and the general director of Vocational education and training, Mª Victoria Oliver. The genera manager of Málaga TechPark, Felipe Romera, and Miguel Ángel Domínguez, director of IES Campanillas, welcomed to the center.
In the tour of different classrooms, Javier Imbroda has known the training cycles that are taught at the center, such as the Development of Multiplatform Applications and the Installation of Telecommunications, or the Specialization Course in Cybersecurity, inaugurated by the Andalusian Minister of Education. This course has been presented by the teachers, Juan Carlos Amaya, head of the IT Department of the IES Campanillas, and Guillermo Raya, tutor professor of this course.
To conclude the visit, virtual reality and augmented reality projects have been shown in which the students of the center have worked.
During his speech, the director of the IES Campanillas highlighted the collaboration with Málaga TechPark in order to provide park companies with students trained in specialties related to the productive fabric of the park. Also, Felipe Romera, has emphasized the need for professional training profiles by companies. Javier Imbroda has appreciated the work that both representatives carry out in the field of Dual VET and congratulated the director of Málaga TechPark for becoming the park into a benchmark innovation hub.
