- The executive group of Málaga TechPark presents its new website and the actions of each of its groups at their third annual meeting
The Málaga TechPark Execs Executives Club continues to grow. Unicaja, Innovasur and EIG Education have joined the group of executives as new members at the third assembly of 2024, held this Thursday at the DEKRA Knowledge Center facilities in Málaga TechPark. The three entities join the incorporations of Cuatrochenta, through Country Manager Spain of Sofistic, Fernando Ramítez, and Mercedes Benz Group Services, through Paolo de Ambrosis, who formalised their incorporation at the last meeting of the group in June of this year.
Unicaja will be represented by Carmen Regel, its Director of the Málaga Business Center; Innovasur by its CEO Juan José Prieto; and EIG Education by Fernando Martín Ortega, its Marketing Director and head of the Málaga campus of this prestigious educational institution. In addition to these new members, the meeting, chaired by CEO and co-founder of Aertec and president of the Club, Antonio Gómez-Guillamón, also showcased the actions carried out by each group within the Málaga TechPark Execs Leadership Club, as well as the goals set for the upcoming quarter, which will see the group fully enter 2025.
In this regard, the Talent group, coordinated by Accenture Managing Director Toni de la Prieta, presented the progress of its work plan and training offer in collaboration with the University of Málaga. They also provided information on the second edition of the EapecializaTech Project by the Employment Department of the Regional Government of Andalusia.
The visibility group, coordinated by Pablo Alifano, CEO Spain, Poland & LATAM at Talan, has introduced the Club’s website, several video content pieces, and showcased the slogan and hashtags that will be used to communicate the various activities related to the leadership club.
As for the ecosystem reinforcement group, with Carlos Bentabol from Grupo Babel as coordinator, the visits made in recent months were analysed and the successive visits planned for the coming year were proposed. Among them, a visit to the Swedish innovation ecosystem.
The Women Leadership Group, coordinated by Sofía Schneider, System South Vice President & EMEA Cloud Systems Site Leader at Oracle, has presented its own “Who’s Who” in female leadership at Málaga TechPark Execs and shared its experience in launching other initiatives. These initiatives include the International Women’s Forum Spain meeting, a podcast and interviews with female executives from Málaga TechPark, and the launch of the Mentoring Programme. The group also plans, among other actions, to hold talks in schools.
The Sustainability Group, led by Pedro Duque of TDK, who took over from Víctor Alcaide in November, highlighted the four GTD meetings held throughout the year and shared a catalog of best practices among the companies at Málaga TechPark. In this regard, they have also organized a series of training programs focused on energy and mobility.
Regarding the cultural activities organized by the Málaga TechPark Execs Leadership Club throughout the year, the following stand out:
- The Larios Pop del Soho Lent Concert, followed by a dialogue with Antonio Banderas.
- The coffee cycle at Málaga TechPark.
- Attendance at the general rehearsal of the musical Tocando Nuestra Canción, directed by Antonio Banderas, as well as the performance itself.
Upcoming cultural actions include:
- Continued collaboration with the Teatro del Soho Caixabank.
- A meeting at the Carmen Thyssen Museum.
- A visit to the Botanical Garden of La Concepción.
Information was provided by the Uma innTech office at Málaga TechPark about the various individual meetings held with some of the companies that make up the Club. In addition, the potential for collaboration with AMETIC was presented, with the aim of, among other things, promoting the participation of professors and researchers in the committees of this entity and creating new opportunities for technological innovation.

The Málaga TechPark Execs Executives Club was created with the aim of promoting collaboration between Málaga TechPark companies and giving visibility to professional excellence. This project, which emerged during the pandemic, brings together entrepreneurs and managers who account for more than 70% of the Park’s employment volume.
